Christmas at Hollywell

 

Reception Year/Tiger Cubs Nativity – Friday 6th December at 9.30am

Parents with children in the Tiger Cubs/Reception Year, will be invited to watch a Nativity performance by their children.

 

Christmas Performance ‘The Real St Nick’ by Y1 and Y2 – Tuesday 10th at 2.00pm and 5.30pm.

Parents/carers are invited to come along to KS1’s Christmas Performance. Seats can be purchased

via sQuid online. These will be limited to two places per pupil due to limited space.

 

Pantomime Visit to see ‘Cinderella’  - Thursday 12th December (Oh yes we are!)

Children, staff and parents will be travelling by coach to the Mansfield Palace Theatre.

Although voting for the general election will be taking place at Hollywell, children not attending the panto will remain in school to take part in some fun, non-curriculum activities.

 

Christmas Jumper Day – Friday 13th December

Children can wear a Christmas Jumper or decorate a jumper to be Christmassy and

donate £1 to Save the Children.

 

Hollywell Christmas Fair! – Friday 13th December 2.30- 4.30pm
Cakes, chocolate tombola, games and refreshments! Yay! Parents/carers are all welcome

to join us at 2.30pm for a very merry afternoon!

Each class will be making items to sell at the Christmas Fair and running games in

classrooms. There will be a prize for the class that raises the most money.

 

Christmas Service for KS2 (Y3-6) – Tuesday 17th December.

Our Year 3 children will perform a traditional nativity and songs at Hollywell for their parents/carers and

the rest of KS2.

 

Tiger Cubs Christmas at the White Post Farm Park – Wednesday 18th December

The Tiger Cubs will have a special Christmas visit to the White Post Farm Park.

 

Christmas Party Days

 - KS1 (Y1 & Y2) will party on Wednesday 18th   (with a special guest visitor)                  

- KS2 (Y3, Y4, Y5 & Y6) on Thursday 19th December

 

  Festive Feast Week – Monday 16th – Friday 20th December

All Christmas meals need to be pre-ordered for children in years 3 – 6.

This is so Chef can order sufficient food for us all!

 

Toy Day – Friday 20th December

    On our last day of term, the whole school have been invited to bring in non-electronic toys to play with.
