Come and Find Out About What we do in the in the Tiger Cubs
On this page you will find out how our classroom is organised, our routines and all the lovely things we can choose to do. We regularly update our blog on a separate page so click here if you would like to find out what we've been upto this week!
Every morning we sit down together for milk and fruit. It is a great opportunity for us to have a really good chat together! Milk is free for children under five and the fruit is provided by the National Lottery. Our parents can order and pay for our milk on the cool milk website.
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal and most children in Tiger Cubs stay for a school dinner because they are yummy! They are nutritionally balanced and use local produce wherever possible. This is how we organise lunchtime in the Tiger Cubs.
We have playtimes in the morning, after lunch and in the middle of the afternoon. We try and go out whatever the weather because the fresh air is good for us! All classes come out at the same time and we all play together. We can play on the field and use the trim trail when it is dry.
Our Creative Area is always open! Sometimes our teachers set us a task to do but we are always free to explore our own ideas if we want to! We are all budding artists in the Tiger Cubs, we love painting, printing, sewing, sticking, box modelling and creating collages. We have looked at some famous works of art such as Van Gogh's Sunflowers and tried to recreate them. Have a look at a slide show of our box model robots we made at home by clicking here.
