Visions and Values

Our Vision

The vision for our school is to be a thriving community where every child reaches their full potential.  We nurture and develop all of our children by challenging, stimulating and inspiring young minds.

The Hollywell Way

At Hollywell we are

  • respectful - we listen and care for one another.
  • creative - we have the confidence to express ourselves and use our imagination.
  • happy - we enjoy learning and celebrate our achievements with a smile on our face.
  • curious - we ask questions and explore new ideas.
  • ambitious - we love a challenge and aim to be the best we can be.

Our visions and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Parents told staff and governors what they considered to be important at Hollywell; we are all working hard towards these goals.

At Hollywell we aim to create a happy, secure and stimulating learning environment where

  • everyone will be inspired and supported to do their very best.
  • all can teach and learn in a comfortable and secure atmosphere.
  • all forms of discrimination, harassment and bullying are eliminated.
  • equality of opportunity is promoted.
  • children can grow to become positive, responsible and increasingly independent members of the school community.

We understand the importance that good quality teaching and learning has upon learning positive, acceptable behaviour standards; and here at Hollywell all teachers practice quality first teaching.

We are committed to ensuring that our classrooms are effective learning environments and that the quality of the relationship between teacher and child/ren is given utmost regard.
